“sulle rive del tango” (‘on the tangoshores’) has been released.
the record collects 17 songs that thouch the tango boundaires, mixing genres and sounds very differents but having a common spirit or a common beat with the tango. to the compilation partecipate amazing artists from all over the world: from polonia, from argentina, germany, norway, bosnia, but also from naples and the united states.
louis armstrong with the brano"kiss of fire" and goran bregovic and carmen consoli with "focu di raggia", they are only some of the artists that gave their contribute to the project.
to the presentation conference partecipated sara d’ajello caracciolo and the songwriter joe barbieri, artistic director of microcosmo dischi, (and also the author of one of the sophisticatest song of the compilation: "in una stanca indifferenza").
the songs of the absence, of the erotism, of the abandonment; the refrains of the goodbye, of the distance, and of the slow heartbeat of latin music: all this is "sulle rive del tango".
possessed all from the "rhythm of the pathos” – beyond to armstrong, bregovic and consoli – we can find gianmaria testa, marlango (with leonor watling already protagonist actress for pedro almodovar in "talk with her"), electrocutango and sineterra, seoan and kroke (launched from steven spielberg and peter gabriel). but there is even more history of the cinema in "peliculas" by the demoliendo tangos: between morricone, bacalov, nino rota and gato barbieri, there is the cuban son translated in milonga with "dos gardenias" by the ache tango. there is the electrotango of the alacran, with theirs "reflejo de luna", the mediterranean-tango of kantango, and the tango-kabarett of the feminine pair queen bee with their “romantik”.

è stato presentato a napoli l’album “sulle rive del tango”, una produzione discografica, che raccoglie 17 canzoni realizzate da artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo: dalla polonia, dall’argentina, dalla germania, dalla norvegia, dalla bosnia ma anche da napoli e dagli stati uniti.
louis armstrong col brano”kiss of fire” e goran bregovic con carmen consoli in“focu di raggia”, sono solo alcuni degli artisti raccolti all’ interno del cd.
alla conferenza stampa di presentazione hanno preso parte sara d’ajello caracciolo e il cantautore joe barbieri, direttore artistico della microcosmo, nonché autore di uno dei brani più raffinati della compilation, “in una stanca indifferenza”.
le canzoni dell’assenza, dell’erotismo, dell’abbandono, i ritornelli dell’addio, della malizia, della lontananza, e il battito lento della musica latina: tutto questo è “sulle rive del tango”.
posseduti tutti dal “ritmo del pathos”, compaiono uno accanto all’altro - oltre a armstrong, bregovic e consoli - i canti di la negra e gianmaria testa, marlango (con leonor watling già attrice protagonista per pedro almodovar in “parla con lei”), electrocutango e sineterra, seoan e kroke (lanciati da steven spielberg e peter gabriel). c’è ancora storia del cinema, in “peliculas” dei demoliendo tangos: tra morricone, bacalov, rota e gato barbieri. c’è il son cubano tradotto in milonga campera, con “dos gardenias” degli ache tango. c’è poi il tango-electro degli alacran, con il loro “reflejo de luna”, il mediterraneo dei kantango e il kabaret “romantik” del duo femminile queen bee.
